Our Burial with Service package, designed for a ceremony prior to burial, offers families a comprehensive and compassionate way to say goodbye. This option allows for a formal gathering where friends and family can pay their respects, share memories, and find solace in a meaningful ceremony before the final committal.
Our dedicated team will meticulously plan and execute every detail, ensuring the service is a fitting tribute that respects your loved one’s wishes and provides a dignified farewell.

Our Burial with Service package includes:

This guide of costs covers the essential services and items for a meaningful funeral service at your chosen venue, followed by burial:

  • Arranging fee: Covering our professional guidance, administrative support, and meticulous coordination of all aspects of the funeral service.
  • Transfer into our care (Mon–Fri): From the place of death within the Sydney metropolitan area into our compassionate care.
  • Mortuary care: Including respectful stay, preparation, and dressing of your loved one for the service.
  • All necessary documentation: We handle the required legal paperwork, including applications for the official death certificate.
  • A quality coffin: The “Richmond” coffin, providing a dignified presence for the service.
  • Hearse: Professional transport of your loved one in a hearse from our care to the church/chapel/venue of choice, and then to the cemetery.
  • Service venue: Coordination and booking of your chosen venue for the funeral service.
  • Order of service booklets: 100 copies of 4-page personalised booklets for the ceremony.
  • Celebrant or Clergy: Fees for a professional celebrant or clergy member to officiate the service.
  • Floral tribute: A beautiful small casket spray to adorn the coffin.
  • Government burial tax: The necessary government levy for the burial.
  • Dedicated staff on the day: Our professional staff will be present on the day to ensure the smooth conduct of the service.

  • Transfer of your loved one into our care (Mon–Fri): $330
  • Mortuary care: $670
  • Death certificate from Births, Deaths and marriages: $68
  • Coffin – Richmond: $600

  • Order of service booklets (4 pages x 100 copies): $360
  • Flowers (small casket spray): $400
  • Celebrant/Clergy Fee: $900

Additional Costs

To help you create an even more unique and meaningful service, we offer a range of optional extras. The costs for these will be clearly outlined and added to your package based on your selections:
  • Viewing: An opportunity for a private viewing of your loved one before the service.
  • Opening & closing of grave: This fee is charged by the cemetery for the physical opening and closing of the grave plot and varies by cemetery.
  • Grave Plot: The purchase of the burial plot itself. Costs vary widely depending on the cemetery, location within the cemetery, and type of plot e.g., lawn, monumental.
  • Grave Marker / Headstone: The cost of a headstone or grave marker, including inscription. This is a separate purchase and varies based on material, size, design, and inscription details.
  • After-hours transfers: Transfers outside of standard business hours may incur an additional charge. Please enquire for details.
  • Extended mortuary stay: Should extended mortuary care be required, additional charges may apply.
  • Travel outside standard service area: For transfers or service coordination outside the standard Sydney metropolitan area, additional travel fees will apply.
  • Additional floral tributes: Larger sized coffin sprays and other arrangements.
  • Catering: For post-service gatherings.
  • Audio-visual equipment: For photo presentations, music, or live streaming beyond standard venue capabilities.
  • Newspaper notices: Placing announcements in local newspapers.
  • Memorial book: for attendees to sign.
  • Mourning car: for family members to travel to and from the service.
